I was interested in getting a custom panted fluke, and suggestions on who can do it an how much i'd expect to spend, i'd like to get a canoer on a lake and the moon around the soundhole....thankers

A custom from the Fluke/Flea themselves will run anywhere from $300-$500 depending on the options.
The other option is to buy a Fluke and have someone paint it for you.

Too bad you don't want a Flea. They've got that "camp" Flea now. All you'd need to add is the canoe!

I got a custom-painted Fluke a few months back. If you have a particular artist in mind, then request an unfinished soundboard from Flea Market Music. They will mail it to you, you can get it painted, and then they'll assemble the instrument after painting. FMM doesn't charge any extra for this service-- you just pay for the soundboard up front then they deduct that from your total instrument cost later. They are a real pleasure to work with.
