I firmly believe that EVERYBODY should have to work at least six months in a service industry job just to learn how to be decent. It should be a requirement for college admission, and the richer the family you came from, the longer you should have to do it.

I am still in the biz but I haven't waited tables in years for exactly all the things you sing about! For the record, the last day I waited tables was the day I said the "F--k Off." to a complete ass. I said it strong, I said it proud... hear me roar! I moved to the kitchen after that. Thank God I found out I could cook, and quite well as it turned out, which sustained me until I was promoted because I am so "guest friendly"!
Who would have thought?!
