Jake interview

I just found this really nice interview with Jake Shimabukuro that was taken after the Montreal Jazz Festival:

I really enjoyed that. I had a chance to speak with Jake and take some pictures in the dressing room before he went on stage at Akron, Ohio. Then, I was right at the foot of the stage and got some great shots for Ukulele Player Magazine that same show. Jake was so highly focused while he was in the dressing room waiting to go on stage. He really is a professional act if ever there was one. Performing comes so naturally for him.

Terrific interview. A really interesting insight.

It's great (and sadly, so rare) to see a high-profile performer who is actually as inspiring as a person as he is a musician.

Nice to see one of the good guys win!
