I have a chance to buy a Pono PSO used in good condition. But I also like the Ohana zeberawood ukuleles that just came out. The zeberawood, I can get for 125.00 and the Pono for 150.00 Both are Sopranos.
Any thoughts??

What's the Pono made from?

The zebrawood is beautiful to look at. While the wood itself doesn't offer any special sound qualities, you will get it with a warranty.

I'll get the Pono. For the price, you can't go wrong. I just got my Pono PSO concert 'ukulele last week. The Pono PSO is the "O" series and it is made from all Mahogany wood.

zebera wood

I just got back from a guitar store and they didn't have the zebrawood in stock. I will say they had a lot of ukuleles and none were of good quality.
I'm thinking the pono would be the best bet. All mahogany and a good co. name.
I was kicking around building anouther StewMac also all mahogany and of good quality.
