Lanikai ck-teq uke or Lanikai s-teq uke?

Well, of these two, the curly koa is prettier, but, the spruce topped uke is louder and brighter in tone. So, if you want a mellow tone with less volume, opt for the koa. If you want a brighter, more guitar-like tone, opt for the spruce. If you are playing plugged most of the time, then it comes down to aesthetics mostly... take what looks best to you.
