'Penz on the sound you're looking for. Browns are not nearly as bright nor as loud as the Clears. Here's couple of threads you read;

Worth Strings - Brown or Clear

Try each set on your ukulele and you make the decision...String choice is a personal choice that you make based on how you like the sound of the strings you are using and how each set feels as you play...Cosmetics could figure into the decision too because of the color, brown or clear...
