...meets the body at the 12th fret right? And a long neck/deluxe/super concert meets at the 14th?

I'm in a debate with my friend and both of us wanna know where a true standard concert sized ukulele neck meets the body.

I think you could both be right. They can be either way depending on brand or builder preference. You can have a long neck Concert that still meets the body at the 12th fret. It just gives you more comfortable spacing between frets and a different tone from the longer vibrating string length.

My Kanile'a soprano (standard?) has the neck meeting the body at the 14th fret. The bridge is closer to the sound hole to keep the scale the same...

Fluke concerts are a little longer with 15 frets. Can't comment on sound....since I don't own one....yet.

Both my Stagg and Moore Bettah Concert ukes meet at the 14th fret. I believe they are standard concert sized ukulele. I have seen concerts meet at the 12th fret too. Like stated above I think it is builder prefrence.

My Kala KA-SC has the neck meeting the body at the 14th fret.
