I always read about people finding great deals on vintage ukes at garage sales and estate sales and I figured that would never happen to me... Until last night.

I searched "ukulele" on craigslist and a garage sale came up and one of the things they were selling was a ukulele. The garage sale was this past saturday though so I email them asking if they still have it and what kind. They said yes, a harmony baritone that used to be her grandapa's for $30! I go to the house today to get it and it's gone. I could cry :(

On a side note, I got a great deal on a uke on ebay this morning!

I'm ecstatic about my $100 Fluke, and $115 KPK (including hard case), as well as my $129.00 Waverly Street pineapple, my $300 Koa Kamaka pineapple, and my custom Koa super soprano R&L pineapple. I have to stop looking or I will find more deals and burn what little I have left of my life savings that is evaporating from medical costs. Life sux but 'ukuleles help cope wit' da pain. :shaka:
