What Ukulele To Buy?

Here's an info thread about entry level ukuleles . . . I've never heard of First Act. It's probably made in China like a number of inexpensive ukes constructed of wood laminates. I have no idea what is sound like but maybe someone else has and can chime in. BTW, welcome to UU.

Don't do it!!! Unless you must and have no other choice.

This one is a much better option...... http://cgi.ebay.com/MARTIN-5M-Daisy...id=p4634.c0.m14.l1262&_trkparms=|293:1|294:30

Haha, just kidding...
The first act brand is a toy brand that they actually sell at some wal marts in the toy section, next to the transformer toys. Try to get a Makala brand or even this http://cgi.ebay.com/SETUP-Kala-KA-1...id=p4634.c0.m14.l1262&_trkparms=|293:7|294:30

You will feel much better about your instrument and will want to play it more, when you buy a toy it will be like a toy, you will loose intrest in a few days and move on to the next thing, then you will have a 20 dollar dust collector under your bed.

In todays economy you would be better off just putting a 20 dollar bill under the bed and forgeting about it. sorry about the rant. Good luck in your decision 36 dollars can get you a makala with free shipping on ebay.:shaka:

Well...

Well... Its Kinda Hard To Me, Because I Cant Buy From Ebay, Im From El Salvador In Central America, And Its Not A Way To Bid There I Had Tryied Before :(

Looks like you can buy it through Amazon, you should look for a Makala Soprano or Pineapple, one of the best entry level uke's on the market, anything cheaper might not tune properly and you will end up not playing it.
