Are there any companies (Hilo, Aquila, whatever..) that will make a set of GCEA Strings for the 6 or 8 String Baritone? I know i could just buy (2) Packs of the 4 string set but I really want to have that High C that the Tenors use in their 8 string set.

Are there any companies that will make them? I'll pay a lot of $$$ if i have to get that one High C String, lol.:shaka:

Hi Cudda,
I had a baritone ukulele once and had put low tension Tenor strings on the baritone. It was okay. Slight difference in the sound but nothing like WOW O BABY YEAH, but it was okay. What ukes do you have? A six and an eight? My advise would be to use some low tension tenor strings and if any of those are wound strings, then find a unwound string to replace that one. You might want to try Aquila's. I would recommend worths, but I don't recall if Worth makes an 8 string set. They probably do but I dont know about it.
