Hey UU people! I'm sure most of you guys called it - after last week's episode covering major pentatonic scales, this would have to be the next logical progression:

But these sound oh, so much cooler! Many times you might think a solo sounds frighteningly complex, only to realize that it's primarily made up of just the notes in the minor pent scale (famous examples include ACDC's "Back in Black" or Hendrix's "Purple Haze", just to name a couple).

I wanted to learn the pentatonic scale

...but why is it made up of 1, 3, 4, 5, and 7 of the minor scale?

i wanna know more! haha
