last night I was tinkering on the Uke in the front yard while the kids and the dog played (and while we waited for Wipeout to start :D ) and I came up with the following tune:

Code:
|2-2-2---3-3-320-0-0-0---3--2--| repeat
|3-----3-0-------2-----2-0--3--|
|2-------0-------2-------0--2--|
|0-------0-------2-------0--0--|

The problem though is that I really would prefer to use something other than the G chord as the last chord but I couldn't find anything that sounded right and would flow back into the G when I repeat the tune. Can anyone suggest a chord that would sound good after the C and lead back into the G at the beginning? Thanks in advance!

The two most obvious choices are the supertonic and dominant chords.

Try an Am or D.

I tried those previously in their upper chord positions and I feel like they sound too deep (in the case of D) and too deep and sad (in the case of Am)... I've tried the following to no avail:

B, Bb, Gsus, A, F, F#, D7, E, E7, Fm and G7 (which sounds the best of all I've tried so far). I'm hoping there's some crazy chord out there that I don't normally use but that would sound great... it's driving me bonkers though :)
