Had to share this...
The Corktown Ukulele Jam (Toronto) hired a streetcar for 3 hours of crazy fun throughout the streets of downtown Toronto this past Wednesday July 15. We boarded at 8pm in front of the Dominion on Queen where we meet every Wednesday eve, and worked through our Corktown JAMBOOK for an hour, playing and singing loudly to the awesome delight of people on the street (I got on earlier at the train yard and installed 2 battery powered sound wedges). The driver dropped us off for drinks and a one hour open-mic at Mitzi’s Sister, a nice roots music bar on the other side of town. Then we re-boarded for another 60 minutes of sing-along/play-along en route back to the Dominion where the after party ran until the wee hours. The streetcar seats 46 – and we sold out, each rider sharing an equal part of expenses.
Here’s some of the pics:

We run every Wednesday eve and are growing in leaps and bounds.
It’s free. Guests are welcome and joining us from every corner of the planet.
