Hi folks!

I didn't really come here to write a review, but just to let people hear how amazing the Pete Howlett tenor sounds. I received it as a birthday gift on my 18th birthday 2 months ago, and still have absolutely no complaints. I can't imagine how an instrument could get better than this!

It is positively flawless, both when it comes to sound and looks. The sound is very clear all the way up the fretboard and works just perfect for the stuff i play on a tenor ukulele - Jake-stuff. It also cuts through when playing with another ukulele or even guitar. It is not a shy and quiet ukulele! At first this can seem overwhelming, but when you get to know the instrument, you can also play it softly and make it sing sweetly. But that power sure is nice to play with too!

so i recorded myself playing what i call an ukulele classic (some might say an ukulele cliche by now, but not me) "while my guitar gently weeps".

(first time i've uploaded stuff - hope it works)

the recording has some weird background noises i've never experienced before when recording, but it's mostly in the beginning, so skip ahead.

here you can see how it looks, in Petes own video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Epsc8t1NCgg

Wow, sounds beautiful. Thanks.

Hi Moller,

I'm 2 weeks from receiving mine from Pete. Yours looks and sounds great. Your MP3 sounds fine if you download it and play it locally. The Box player made a mess of playing it.

Cheers!
Claudio

Got my spruce/padauk tenor from him two weeks ago and have barely played anything else except for my Pete Howlett electric tenor I gig with).

I shall soon, need to pick up a decent microphone to do a sound sample. Also waiting for a sunny day so I can get a few pics of it outside, inside light doesn't do it justice.
