Hey Mike... great pics. That flamed Mahogany looks good. And a guitarlele!!! What is the finish like on these... satin or gloss?

Many thanks,
Lori

The mahogany is light semi gloss satin the guitarlele was satin.... the built in tuner was actually pretty accurate.

Ah! See, we CAN agree on something! It's a lot like a flame maple, a wood I've always liked.

What kind of headstock does the mahogany flame have ? Is it slotted or not ? Will the new kala pickup will offered as and option to all their models ? And info about the prices ?

I like, I want. how are these played? I dont know how to play guitar, and I can do chords on a uke, it sounds awesome, but how would I learn?

They are tuned ADGCEA so the first 4 strings same as 'ukulele tuning, easy transition. ;):shaka:

I've played one, both guitar and ukulele chords will sound fine. But if you're using ukulele chords you either have to fret the bass notes or not play the top two strings. My advice would be to learn both ukulele and guitar chords :D

so if I capo'd my guitar, Id be essentially playing a guitalele? and any standard guitar chord will be the same? ( c is a c)

Yes, but the chords would be like a uke.

So 320003 is now a C chord, not a G. (Just like 0003 is a C on the uke)

Ahhh, I was hoping for a price point similar to Yamaha's GL-1. Thanks for the video though!
