Not sure. There are a few Les Paul style ukes about.

I don't think this one is a Mahalo... Looks to me like it could be the Kiwaya K-Wave model.

WS64 (http://www.ukuleleunderground.com/forum/member.php?u=763) is a UU member. You could send him a message and ask.

I have seen similar ukes but forget the make.

I bet he's playing his Portuguese built Carvalho concert.
Really lovely playing cheers WS.

Maybe, but I never saw a Carvalho that looks like that.

I wonder if the OP sent a message to ask...

On another site he is playing the K-Wave fender uke, so I'd go with that one being the K-Wave Les Paul

You're right it's not a Carvalho...We have to wait for WS64 to tell us.
Really funky funkytown though.

That's my guess.

I found it:

http://www.ukuleleworld.com/kiwaya-kw-vii-k-wave-uke.html?manufacturerid=188

It's a Kiwaya K-Wave, like some other people suggested.

Don't know about the instrument, but the song was really slick.

seeso - i had someone ask in the forums what kind of uke you're playing in the funkytown video

WS64 - I have to check

seeso - it looks like a les paul
is it a kiwaya k-wave?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuq8IHxIMSc

WS64 - Yes and no. It's a Billy Ray. But those Billy Rys are b-ware of Kiwaya (without the Kiwaya having them allowed to use those instruments)

These Billy Rays are the reson why the K-Wave are discontinued

seeso - really?
huh. interesting.

WS64 - Yes. The instrument was very cheap (100), but jsut had some minor issues.

There were a bunch of those in Germany available (not anymore), some were unplayable, some like mine were really great
