Mya-Moe ukulele

Hi all I was wondering if any one has played or own a Mya-moe ukulele? Any feed back would be appreciated :shaka:

I played a few of them at NY Uke Fest. Wonderful instruments! They're mostly known for resonators, but I was quite partial to their regular tenor. Really nice folks, too!

I played with a Mya-Moe resonator a couple months ago at a shop in Portland (they're built just East of Portland in the Columbia River Gorge). VERY nice - sounded beautiful and looked gorgeous - it was one of the white mahogany (I think that's what they call it) models - very striking!

I tried a classic tenor in mango wood of theirs. The workmanship was fantastic and the wood choice was amazing - stunning looking.

But I found the sound of the mango somewhat muted especially as I play with my finger tips and not nails.

I hope to one day get one of their brighter sounding instruments.

So it didn't work out with me for the particular instrument I tried, but I would recommend their workmanship overall and especially their customer service.

I have a Mango Tenor Reso and it is fabulous. Last month I was playing at a ukefest with Victoria Vox, and she had just received a new Mya Moe tenor (non reso) It was superb. She played it at her performance that weekend for the first time.
