I really liked this uke up front on the long side not so much. These are really good low G for some unknown to me reason. I MEAN REALLY REALLY UNBELEVABLY GOOD.
I play High G pretty much 90% of the time so thats how I tried to set it up and failed misrably. Tone is all over the board in this one, I tried everything that I could to get this setup the way I wanted. Three separate compensated saddles of different hights. I tried just about every string on the planet and it killed me but just could not get it the way I wanted.
If your a low G player or lean that way you need to try one of these things out. Its a heck of a deal for the price. High G, try it first. I have heard through the grapevine that many have had luck with high G just not me.
Full disclosure I sold this, it now has a happy home unknown tuning.
