? World's record greatest # Uke players - succeed?

Last weekend folks were going to try to set a world's record for the greatest number of Ukulele players assembled together up in the Chicago land area tied in to a Beatles fest. Haven't heard if it succeeded or not. Was hoping someone could post what happened.

It seems like they fell far short from setting any records. From the Facebook fan page, someone wrote that the number was 97. But it also sounds like those that did attend had a great time-so that is the what counts.http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=82233286733&ref=ts

It's too bad it was on a Sunday night after 9pm...lol...I bet they would have had A LOT more people attend (like ME!) had it been at a normal time.

But, there's always next year...watch your back, London!
