hello all!

so as part of my take-up-the-ukulele-over-the-summer project, I've been watching lots of the uke minutes videos, and have been trying to get at least one done a day. I've cheated and skipped around a little (a lot, actually), but I'm still stuck on the four fingered roll one (http://ukuleleunderground.com/2008/02/25/uke-minutes-6-the-roll-technique/)

actually, I can't do any of the rolls. I can chunk, but I seriously seriously seriously cannot figure out the roll-ness. does anyone by any chance have any tips or tricks for me, or can explain how they figured it out?

thanks! :)

I keep my fingers "curled up, I don't stretch them out like that, and it sounds the same.

Try and tap your fingers on a table started from your pinky to your pointer. The motion is the same, except you are also twisting your wrist a bit
