This isn't really regional get together, but its the most relevant board I could find.

Basically, I've found this program call Ninjam, which allows you to jam online with up to 6 people, using new latency reduction technology. I've always believed that the best way to improve your ear and creativity is to just sit and jam with someone. With that in mind, would anyone be interested in organising a jam session online?

If you don't believe that the software works check it out at http://www.ninjam.com/

another similar program is iMuzz: http://www.imuzz.com

Yeh, I tried it out with my brother while I was abroad and he was still here and it worked fine. The only thing is that the way that it gets rid of the lag is that it makes it longer. Basically you're always hearing what they played one bar ago, and their always hearing what you played one bar ago. It feels wierd at first, but its actually quite cool, if you listen to a recording of the whole thing afterwards it sounds fine.
