Youtube problem.

Hi Guys
Don't know if I'm posting in the right place, but I'll soon be told if I am, well here goes.
On my youtube account, my in-box shows that I have one message, I can't find any trace of any messages but every time I log on it shows 1 new message. Has anyone else had his problem? I'm just a bit worried that there is some hidden message on there as I've started getting lots of emails about enlarging my manhood and checking my bank details from banks I'm not in.
I don't know if it is related but I thought I would ask here.

Did you try closing the browser? or restarting your computer?

I've had the same thing happen. I'll read messages, but they will still list as unread. After a few weeks it went away.
Last year for about a month, YT would ask me my language preference everytime I clicked on a video. That got old after awhile.

I have the same problem. It's been about 3 weeks, I hope it goes away soon.

I've got this problem too. 4 messages in my Inbox, but they are all phantom ones.

I had it before, and after a few weeks it went away on its own. YouTube's help pages say it's happened again, but they're trying to fix it and it should go away sooooooon HOPEFULLY

I've had this problem come up several times. What browser are you guys using? I've only run into it when using Internet Explorer, which is my default browser I typically use. After it starts to bug me I open up Mozilla Firefox & load youtube & it clears my messages back to zero. Works for me
