I'm sure the retail real estate is pretty high at the Hilton, so don't expect much bargaining leverage unless you're purchasing a few ukes with cases, extra strings, and a few CDs. They've got to pay the rent somehow.

I got an $16 CD for $20, but I was glad to get it. I give my barber a big tip every haircut to keep him in business. c'est la vie.

Same goes for our wonderful ukulele builders and suppliers. Hey, if we don't support them now, one day we'll wake up and find them 'gone'. Oh NO! Say it isn't so! As a community, let's do what we can to keep our favorite businesses, well... IN Business! If we don't, who will?

Disclaimer: This in no way is to say we can't TRY to bargain a "better" price... : )
