I wish I had found this site before I ordered this one, but it'll do for now. I got an Applause SM-10 soprano by Ovation. I've had several Ovation guitars in the past and really liked their tone and playability. The uke has a very nice, bright tone and the sound is good, but the rounded back makes it hard to hold. I'm also second guessing my choice of a soprano, but I've got a few cigar boxes and some wood working tools . . .

I'm having real trouble getting it tuned, but I think that is more of my ear at this register than the instrument itself. I've got a clip on tuner on the way, but I don't wanna wait a week to really try to play this thing!

Here's the pictures:

Search for "online ukulele tuner" and you'll find a bunch you can use to turn by ear.

AP Tuner is a great little program that will install on a Windows mo-sheen. It uses your microphone as the input and tunes extremely accurately.

Congrats, nothing wrong with that uke. If nothing else, when you get another one this will make a great travel uke.
