I was wondering if anyone has ever seen, owned, played a cutaway uke that is concert size. I have seen tons that were tenors. I think the cutaway looks cool, but like playing the concert better.

For any Luthiers, is it harder to bend the wood on a smaller instrument?

If budget and wait time aren't problems, then check out William King's work over at http://chantus.com/notes

He's done at least one cutaway concert and, by all accounts, his work is top of the line.

Here's one:

I had a black one once and it was a pretty nice uke.

There is no doubt about the quality of his work. A friend has a King concert (not a cutaway) and it is a beautiful sounding ukulele. I am plenty jealous.

I own two cutaway concerts.
Check here (http://youtube.com/watch?v=P3ilimZkQ9o) and here (http://youtube.com/watch?v=mAMWndHwT-U) for example.
