Kala KA-S or Kala KA- 15S? Any difference besides White Trim?

New Ukulele Player here!!!!
Money is tight right now but the UKE BUG has just bit me!!!! I love it.

I have a cheapy touristy one from the Hawaii airport and want one a little better. Played guitar and mandolin for over 15 years so I'm really getting the Uke down.

So I'm looking at these 2. and I'm leaning towards the KA-15S from MGM.

I figure in a year I'll get something nicer, so right now I just want something that plays good. White trim or not. No biggie.

Please let me know if there is any difference. SO EXCITED ABOUT GETTING INTO THE UKULELE!

I bet there is no real difference between the two. One has the white rosette and one has a white binding. The bridge designs are a little different, but they both look to be tie on bridges. I think you will be happy with either one.

According to the links on Kala's website, the only difference is the price and the white binding (which is from what I can tell, the reason the price is different.)

My personal preference is the non-binded uke. I just prefer the nice clean look with no flashy additions.
