I bought this on ebay; it said it was solid wood from 1969. The wood is a nice orangey color and is too light to be mahogany and the grain is different. The label inside says "Manufactured for GMC Cleveland Ohio Made in Japan". I have found some information about GMC, but nothing about ukuleles. This one sounds real nice, there is no binding around the sound hole and looking at the wood there it appears to be a solid top but I am not 100% sure. Anyone have more information on this uke??:anyone:
