Hi,

My ukulele has a slot style bridge. I prefer the tie on bridge, similar to classical guitars. Is it more trouble than it's worth to switch bridges? I'd also seen that a good bridge can make a big difference in sound. I'd like to switch them out, but I have no idea how to do it. Does anyone know how much of a difference it'd make, or about how much it'd cost? Thanks in advance for any help.

in my opinion, yes. alot has to be done to take a bridge off when its already glued on. i think it comes down to how much you paid for the uke and how much are you willing to spend on a bridge that youll really only use when you change strings.

however, the best solution from many a standpoint would be... to buy another uke!!! :D
