Goat skin head on Waverly Street banjo uke

I really enjoy my Waverly Street banjo uke, but I wanted to see what it would sound like with a natural skin. So, over the long weekend I found time to replace the synthetic skin with a goat skin. I am pleased with the result and feel that it now has a more mellow sound, though it still is plenty loud.

I'm not 100% sure, but I *think* an 8" Remo drum head would fit.
