so what do use reckon, which one should i go for:

my main and only uke at the moment is a kala 8 string mahogony and im after something else now prefer something more sweeter sounding

Um, that Lanikai is a concert, not a tenor. :)

They'd both be great, I'm sure. So I think it depends on what you're looking for, and how and where you play your uke. The Fluke is darn near bulletproof, and will be less sensitive to moisture, since the top is basically covered by a decal. You would probably want to baby and pamper the Lanikai, whereas the Fluke would be a great "beach uke," which you could treat more casually. Sonically I suspect the Lanikai would be brighter than the Fluke.

That Lanikai is gorgeous, and pretty much has a "this is a serious instrument" vibe. The Fluke is more kitschy, and has more of a "hey, pour me another margarita" vibe. Me, I like 'em both!

OK HAHA, where switching things up here, cause im selling all my instraments to by 1 nice instrament, so here are now my serious choices which i reallly need to consider, heres what i like and can afford:

Mele solid all koa tenor

as you can see my budget is around the $650 US mark so any other suggestions would be great, but these are the serious options hopeing to by in about 2 weeks time, have so much excitement my first solid wood ukulele

deach baby cakes, that was a firm answer lol, how come you reckon the mele, your proberly the best person to ask actually cause it seems you have alot of ukuleles and have played alot, what do you reckon the sound is most compared too??? and do u reckon go for the two hole version???

With the exception of a Mele Guitarele, every Mele I've played sounded great and was well built.

Most Ponos I've played sucked.

As for the Honu, I've heard mixed reviews, mostly not great.
