The 2007 San Francsico Ukulele Festival

I had fun on my journey to the SF Uke Fest two years ago. Accompanying me was Wanguruwe, my foul mouthed soprano uke. I was right on the verge of moving out of San Francisco at the time, and so I was very grateful that I got to meet some of the uke players I had been following on You Tube a the time...

Does the Uke Fest in SF happen every year? Do you know when the next one will be?

I moved away from there soon after that, so I didn't keep up with that region's goings on... A quick Google search revealed that there was one in 2008, but no mention of one this year.

oh cool! i had read an article in the san francisco chronicle about the event and that's what got me interested in ukulele. bummed that i missed out on it and i think that the september 2007 event was the first and last of it's kind. hopefully, they'll bring it back someday.
