Sorry if this is in wrong tropic.........

Im trying to find a song to play that has some good, fun picking in it.
Im still learning so something that isnt too hard but still takes a bit of practice.
at the moment i love playing the small picking intro for Gitara that Aldrine did on the video lessons, I feel pro when i play it
Do any of the UUers recommend any?

thanks

I learnt a few cliche riffs (smoke on the water, sunshine of your love etc) starting off but couldn't really incorporate them into the song as a whole...

The first one I figured out though was "Girl, you'll be a woman soon"

Where they say
Gm [D Bb A G] C7

They mean

Code:
a|-1---1-0---1-|
e|-3-------3-0-|
c|-2-2-------0-|
g|-0---------0-|

It's an insanely simple riff - hold the Gm, lift your index finger and move on to a C7... everyone loves it :)

You could play the chords individually as they seem to imply, but the riff is much easier and much more like the original :)

If your picking skills are a bit more advanced, then try out the Trailer Park Boys theme, as figured out by some of our west island cuzzies (it's a great show, if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. Canadian humour at its best)

There's also plenty of tabs and associated learning here:
