One of the best places to check is the tab section of this website, specifically the sticky with tabs in it, but as far as players go, here's the breakdown.

Here's the breakdown

most relevant (male and female vocals with uke)
Noah and the Whale

One of the best ukers:
Jake Shimabukuro

Seeso and I have worked some out too.

If you have some other preferences, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

=> Favorite all around player: James Hill

=> Other good players: The duo of Herb Ohta Jr and Daniel Ho

=> interesting girl band: Ingrid Michealson (she's no virtuoso, but good songs)

=> Interesting guy pop player: Never Shout Never (again, no virtuosos here, but fun songs)

There are some fantastic musicians among the ukulele forums. Depending on the style of music you like, look around and you will find a large number of jazz players, rock, instrumentalists, Vaudeville, show tunes, some country, lots of traditional Hawaiian, classical, punk, raggae, even bluegrass.

If you want recommendations, it helps to know what you are into or if you want to broaden your horizons.

I love Kate Miccuci. If you're a fan of scrubs, she's in a few episodes in there as a ukulele girl.
