I want to get a hard case for my Oscar Schmidt Tenor and I want to know if you can use just any tenor case. Like a lanikai case or Kala case or does it have to be in the Oscar Schmidt case?

You need to get the inside dimensions of the case and compare them to the outside dimensions of your uke. Some manufacturers have their cases made to custom-fit their instruments, and sometimes they won't fit others because the bouts are different sizes or there are tuning pegs sticking out the sides of the headstock, etc.

2nd the above. Case in point is the Koolau case vs the Oahu case. Koolau uses their cases specifically for the Koolau and Pono line but the Oahu case is for all other brands and slightly oversized.

Contact MGM. He can probably beat those prices and recommend a case for you.

Not to be confused with these guys (http://www.mgm.com), who probably don't know squat about ukuleles. And watch the lion. He's crabby.

personally i would go with the oscar schmidt, its cheaper than most of the hard cases and its your ukulele brand so it probably will fit better than the other, oh and the kala and lanikai hardshell ukulele cases are exactly the same
