With the hole size of an ukulele being so small, is there some secret technique or instrument used to easier remove and insert (the hard part) the battery into its position. It took me a long change my first battery, and it was frustrating, and I had to settle it going in backwards, so that the wires show through the hole.

if your battery is a 9v that is clipped to the pickup control box, just pull the control box out. use a screwdriver and carefully remove the screws. then just pull it out. when you put it back in, make sure you dont tighten the screws too tight. just get it snug so the box dont wiggle. remember the wood is very thin. it is very easy to strip it.

Thanks Nukedoc - I'll fix after the Hayward uke festival this weekend.
