Grover tuners?

I just put a set of those on a cigar box ukulele. I got mine from Stewart-MacDonald for about $15. They are okay tuners. They don't slip and they turn relatively smoothly. They are not the highest quality tuners by any means...Hope this helps...

Never tried them. I have Waverly's on my guitar and they are the finest made, in my opinion. When I make my ukulele, I would like to use Waverly's.....although you would have 1 tuner left over in each direction.

Holy Geebies! Is that price for one set? That's 10 times the price of the Grover's originally mentioned... I guess they would be the finest made!

They're great, best thing Grover has done for ukulele. Gotohs are 3 times the price; they are particularly nice.... get them from LMII
