Hi,

I was recently at a local music store and they had a 1960's TV Pal ukulele for sale for about $60. I really liked the sound and the looks of it, but I can't seem to find any info on it online. It was definitely wood, I'm not sure whether or not it was laminated. It also had a pick/teardop shaped soundhole. Can anyone help me out, or at least point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Yes, and he plays them well. :music: I didn't know wood was involved with TV ukes?

Sorry guys, false alarm. I called them, turns out I talked to someone who didn't know their stuff too well. They put me on the phone with their ukulele-knowing guy and turns out it was a Wendell Hall uke, and 1920's era. That other guy was pretty off. It's still really nice though!

It's actually $120. The guy I talked to didn't know his stuff.

:agree: DO IT! Seriously, that looks like a sweet uke! Check it for flaws then write out the check.
