Lanikai Lu-21c Black question

Hey every one.

I currently play an Oscar Schmidt OU-2 and am looking into acoustic electrics.

I was looking into the Lanikai Lu-21c black, but im afraid that because it has a glossy top it wont have the same Acoustic properties as the Lu-21c Acoustic-Electric.

Any one have opinions or experience with either of these ukuleles?

Sorry to double post but, does Any one know anything about this ukulele or ukuleles with glossy tops?

Will a painted, gloss top ruin acoustics? :anyone:
