Ok I have a soprano makala dolphin and an Antonio carvalho concert ukulele; they both feel solid , and not too light.

I also had a Lanikai Lu-21 , but this felt wayyy to light for me. Can anybody recommend some good soprano ukulele that are more solid?

I hope I don't sound silly.

Hey by solid do you mean heavier or better constructed? I just ask because a heavier uke doesn't necessarily mean better - my Kamaka is crazy light and I'd consider it a really good uke.

I mean heavier, I think the lanikai lu21 was decent quality , it's just that I prefer something heavier.

Good stuff! A solid body electric uke may also be good for you, like an Eleuke: http://www.eleuke.com/
