After looking in ebay, sellers often mention different kamaka label colors (like white or gold label).. Anyone here can enlighten me about what they mean? Thanks!
While this states that in 1969, Kamaka switched their labels from gold to white, I know this to be less than 100% reliable in dating a uke. I inherited a white-labeled pineapple from my grandparents who purchased it in Hawaii earlier in the decade (my granddad had passed away by 1969).
