How do you tune your ukulele to your guitar? I know you guys are smart, but I'm not able to solve this problem. :anyone:

The easiest way is to slap a capo on the fifth fret of the guitar...

I'm not exactly sure, though, what you are asking.

Do you mean tune your ukulele using your guitar?

Or do you mean make it so that your ukulele is tuned like a guitar (To which I say, hu? Baritones can be tuned like a guitar... I think...)

Or do you mean something else entirely?

I think he wants to know how to be sure that his guitar and his ukulele are in tune with each other....

so long as their in tune with themselves they're in tune with each other, the difference is the notes you play.

A g on a uke is a g on a guitar and so forth. The chords should sound like they match too.

you could try tuning your uke's E string (second) to your guitar's E string (first), and go from there.

It is easier to tune the uke to a guitar chord. Play a "G" chord on the guitar and tune your "G" string on your uke. Then, tune the other strings, but a chromatic tuner is the best bet. Tune both instruments with the same tuner.
