Made this guy the other day...its my favorite one so far. 19 inch scale with d'addario baritone strings. I'm interested in how the tenors will sound on it, but I'm diggin the sound of the baritone right now. It's got great warmth, tone and good volume...alot of resonation. I really like the overall aesthetic, colors and grain patterns.

This was my first time with these tuners and with a glue-on bridge. I replaced the plastic saddle with some corian I shaped. I'm gonna just make my own bridge from now on since the factory spacing isnt exactly what I want, but this was a test run. Still gotta install the electronics, maybe lower the action a bit, but I always want to hurry up and play it It aint perfect, but she's all mine...and they're only getting better!

Sweet! I need to just knock a few of these out and quit trying to be so fancy, then I might actually stand a chance of making one as nice as this!

Nice! I'm working on CBU #2. It'll be sort of a hybrid, four strings, somewhere around a Tenor neck length, steel strings, and the ability to offset one string to "double" the high string, so I can tune it like a Dulcimer.

I have all the parts, just taking final measurements before committing to cutting and gluing.

Yep, that's the basic idea. Nothing quite so elaborate though. Neck through body construction, precut maple fretboard (I'm not that good yet), Uke bridge going to a small brass cabinet hinge for tail piece, all built on an Oliva cigar box.

I'm gonna make a few concerts, maybe sopranos, out of some olivas I got...well, I guess I could make some really short scale dulci's for the kids to beat on. I'll have to think about that.
