Anyone running a eleuke? Hows it run with a rough distortion setting/pedal?

Anyone got any experience with this ukulele?

theres almost no sustain, but it sounds righteous. I like to run it through my pedal to give it some tone control and add some reverb to make up for the lack of sustain, but other than that it does sound really good. It almost sounds like a synth guitar or something because its so clean-crunchy (ill use distortion on pedal and amp)

also the you can turn the gain up on the eleuke and it gives it this really nasally tone, similar in my opinion to the bridge pickup of a telecaster where its really hot.. but it sounds really, compressed.

I run mine through a Fender GDEC solid state amp set to the "Taking 5" channel 13 wherein you can get a real sweet jazzy mellow tone. Adding a little overdrive and distortion is nice too...That amp is a great little amp loaded with endless sound possibilities...:D

I use a Risa eleuke, and it sounds fine directly through an amp. You can play around with sustain using gain, and it can sound like anything between an acoustic uke and a distorted electric guitar.

I haven't used a pedal, but I heard there are good results. Check out some videos:

A nice sampler of the uke in different settings (I think he used an effects pedal):
