I will be teaching a class for Absolute Beginners at Dusty Strings in the Fremont District of Seattle. Here's a blurb:
`Ukulele for Absolute Beginners ---
Been wanting to play an instrument, but didn't know where to start? Try the little four-stringed charmer that has long been considered the easiest instrument to learn. Two guys from the Seattle `Ukulele Players Association will get you started on learning your strings and getting a few chords under your belt, so you can play songs by the time you finish.
If you know anyone who might benefit from attending, have them get in touch with Dusty Strings for more info.
This will take place this Sunday, Oct 11th from 2:45-4:45p. A word of warning, Dusty Strings is a basement operation and they do NOT have elevators, so they are not "mobility-challeged" friendly. It's a rather steep and long, wide wooden staircase from street level to their shop.
