Change in my Youtube

My dear friends, I have had a few sorry vids up on my Youtube channel. My old channel is really for videos of me and my buds from the Ovation guitar club. So I have a new uke-only channel that I'm going to be using for uke videos. If I do anything wierd like unsub you and then re-sub you, that's why. I'm planning to try and make better videos than I have, and a few more, so I figured I'd try and do it right.

Hey, while I'm on the subject, lemme axe you 'tubers an equestrian...

People here say they have thousands of subscriptions they can't keep up with, and they thank people for their subs, etc. Is there some advantage to having a lot of subscribers, or is it just politeness and status? I mainly use mine as bookmarks, so I can see what my buds are doing. Am I missing something?

Or maybe your subscribers can just sub both of your channels.......??
