If you have read one of my previous posts i now need a new tenor since my 2yr old used my previous one for a seat.I have a kanilea concert custom curly koa.I'll put what i am after in point form for ease of reading
mellow tone
satin finish preferrable but not a must
solid prefferable not a must
from what i have read so far, mango, acacia, mahogany and cedar tops will have more of a mellow tone.I am not brand loyal so i am open to suggestions.I can only go off you tube sound samples for the sound of each one.
i have found that worth strings do a string set low g cea for a baritone.Does anyone have theres strung that way?
So please send me your suggestions for a tenor or baritone in the price range of $800 or lessAs we all know doing the research for the next uke is half the fun.
Thankyou all in advance
