Idle curiosity... the Kanile'a web site says that for extra dollars they will put up to eight strings on a soprano. Has anyone ever seen an 8-string soprano? I don't find any discussion on such...

There is a 6 string mezzo-soprano for sale in the FMM marketplace. To the best of my reccollection I have not laid my eyes on an 8 string soprano. But that is not saying too much.

I think the headstock would be about the same size as the uke lol.
