Low G ??s

I'm sorry if this is common knowledge, but I don't know. If you are using a low G string, dose it fit the same size slot in the nut and saddle as a high g or do you have to change them to ones with a larger slot? Also, are the other three strings the same whether using high or low G?

the nut in my tenor fit both high and low g no problem, and yes, the other three strings are exactly the same

I have changed all three of my tenors to low G, and have had no problem what so ever. Go with it. You'll be fine.
