i was looking to buy a uke for my friend she used to play violin so i wanted to go with F holes has anyone ever played this ukulele?

At that low a price, it could be a dicey proposition, if you're looking for something nice, but as a starter uke it might not be that bad.

The Kala Jazz ukes are another option.

A $20 dollar uke is gonna sound like a $20 uke.

ya i would love to get her the kala and especially the waverly i just dont have that kind of money..it will be a stater uke shes brand new to it..so i guess it should satisfy?

I wouldn't go for that Uke because of a few reasons. It seems not to have fretmarkers, just to name one.

Unless your really set on the F holes, I would say go for a Makala dolphin. I've only played around a little on one, but many people like them as starter ukes. They are around $35.
