I was thinking about getting a new acoustic guitar but I'm not sure what to get. I have a pretty low budget as of now around 200 is my price cap. Thanks in advance

Know of any local shops in your area that sell guitars? I'm sure you'd be able to find SOMETHING for that price.

Bump that cap up to 300 and your choices will rise greatly. :D

I was going to suggest an Art & Lutherie guitar but they're closer to $300. If you happen to see one used, it's worth checking out. I have one and love it. For a new one around $200, I hear you can't go wrong with Yamaha.

Sure you don't wanna buy a uke :)

haha I just bought one and Im trying to fight that UAS bug thats going around lol

well the price is depending on how much money i might make over the holiday season and I'm doubting I'll get up to 300.

Edit: I know one store in town ill probably drop by by the end of the year to check things out there could be some sales also.

I just picked up a Fender Strat-Acoustic I really like it.

I started playing a Electric Strat 8 weeks ago and the Folk Music School where I take my lessons have a alot more lessons for Acoustic than Electric...
Sooo... I went looking and found this it has the same cutaway as my electric so I can reach those higher frets that I play on the Strat but couldn't reach even on a normal cutaway Acoustic. Plus it has a thinner body too.

My Instructor was impressed with the sound/sustain and playability too. He told me he always kind thought of them as a novelity guitar but mine made him change his mind.

I have small hands too so something for someone with smaller hands would help me out lol

For half that price I recommend a Rogue D100 dreadnought, Lazy Pancakes.

For only $10 bucks more, you can get a mandolin with it:

Add a pickup (I have several of these):

good choice
I was lookin at those too when I got mine.

I figured seeing as I play a Strat electric I would go with the acoustic version.
